Noodle cutlets is a delicious recipe usually made for breakfast, lunch or snacks. Noodles are cooked, mixed with vegetables, sauce, spices and flour and are pan fried or shallow fried. These can also be made with leftover noodles or spaghetti and is a great option for evening snacks with noodles. This is also known noodle tikki and can be made with Maggi noodles too.
Maggi cutlet is an innovative way to make your child eat vegetables. Chow Mein cutlet taste yummy and since they are made with noodles children love them. You can add any type of vegetables to this noodle recipe and they get ready in few minutes. I have added onion, tomato, capsicum and carrots. You can even add finely chopped broccoli, boiled potato, green peas, mushroom, French beans, beet root or cauliflower.
These leftover noodle cutlets are perfect to serve in the kids snack box too. You can even serve them during the evening 6’0 clock hunger time. The vegetables provide all sorts of vitamins and nutrients to the child. Serve these hot noodle cutlets with tomato ketchup. You might also like these delicious Goan prawn cutlets.
You can even make noodle pakora with the same ingredients. Just coat it in batter like besan (gram flour) and deep fry them. This was my favourite in college Maggi stall.

Ingredients used in recipe of noodle cutlets:
- Noodles: You can use any type of noodles thick, thin or even flat noodles to make this cutlet recipe. You can even make cutlets with left over noodles.
- Vegetables: Vegetables like tomato, onion, capsicum, carrots, beet root, French beans, cauliflower, potato, broccoli, sweet corn, green peas, etc can be used in making this noodle snack recipe.
- Spice powders: Black pepper powder and coriander powder are the spice powders used. You can even add paprika and oregano to add more flavour.
- Flour: I have used cornflour to bind the vegetables to the noodles.
- Oil: I have used vegetable oil to pan fry these noodle and vegetable cutlets.
How to make noodles cutlet?
- Cook the noodles as per package instructions.
- Take a mixing bowl, add noodles and all the vegetables.
- Add the spice powders, salt to taste and mix well.
- To bind add cornflour, 1 tablespoon at a time and mix well.
- Roll into balls and flatten these as cutlets and keep them on a plate. If your hands get sticky, simply dip it in water before rolling every cutlet.
- Heat a frying pan and drizzle oil.
- One by one place the cutlets on the frying pan and shallow fry or pan fry them on both sides till they turn brownish.

Ingredients
- 1 packet noodles of any brand
- 1 medium sized onion finely chopped
- 1 small carrot peeled and finely chopped
- ½ capsicum finely chopped
- 1 to mato chopped
- 2 tablespoon spring onion greens finely chopped
- 2 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
- 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 3 tablespoon cornflour
- 2 tablespoon oil for shallow frying
- To taste salt
Instructions
- Cook noodles as per package instructions.
- Take a mixing bowl, add noodles and all the vegetables.
- Add the black pepper, coriander powder and salt and mix well.
