Delicious, melt in mouth chocolate fudge with sweetened condensed milk is a 5-minute chocolate fudge recipe. This fudge is also a perfect homemade gift to share with friends or family during seasons like Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New year.
The chocolate fudge using condensed milk is an easy recipe. I used Amul mithai mate. You can use any type of condensed milk though.
Using butter while making fudge adds little bit of shine on the fudge. The fudge was delicious and just melted in my mouth.
Other dessert recipes to try:
My little one was the first to try and was following me throughout the photo shoot to have a bite of some of them. Her first comment was that it tasted like Cadbury.
My husband tried the chocolate fudge recipe next. He too said that it tasted more like Dairy Milk Chocolate.

Ingredients that go in making melt in mouth chocolate fudge:
- Chocolate: Semi sweet chocolate morsels or chocolate chips are used in making this 5-minute fudge recipe. You can even try making it using Hershey’s dark chocolate chips.
- Condensed milk: In earlier times, fudge was made by stirring milk in a sauce pan over low heat and reducing milk by stirring constantly. But if we use condensed milk, the fudge gets ready easily in few minutes.
- Nuts: Nuts like almonds and pistachios are used in this recipe.
- Butter: I have added little butter to this fudge recipe. Adding butter adds little shine and makes the fudge glossy in appearance.
How to make easy 5-minute cholate fudge:
- Keep the serving tray ready by spreading a butter paper. Apply 1/2 tablespoon butter to this paper.

For the double boiler method, keep a utensil filled with water and let the water get boiled. Keep another pan over the boiling water and melt the Choco chips while continuously stirring. Ensure that not even a drop of water gets in the melted Choco chips. - After the Choco chips are melted, add condensed milk and mix. Add butter and chopped pistachios and mix well.
- Spread this mixture in the serving tray and after cooling refrigerate it. You can feel free to lick the left-over chocolate fudge from the pan 🙂
- Cut into pieces and serve after cooling.
Storing condensed milk fudge:
This condensed milk chocolate fudge will last for around 1 week at room temperature in airtight container and around 2-3 weeks when stored in refrigerator.
