Wash the pomfret and clean it. Make 2 or 3 gashes on the fish.

Prepare the masala paste or marinade. Add little water while making the thick spicy masala paste.

Apply the spicy masala paste to the silver pomfret and keep it aside for 20 minutes to marinate.

Take a plate and add rice flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.

Coat the marinated pomfret in spiced rice flour.

Shallow fry or tava fry on both sides.
