- Mushroom: I have used button mushrooms in this recipe.
- Vegetables: Broccoli, tomato, red bell pepper and onion are the vegetables used in making this mushroom and broccoli stir fry.
- Spices: Minced garlic, paprika or red chili powder are the two spices used in this stir fry with broccoli and mushroom.
- Soy sauce: A little bit of dark soy sauce is used in this recipe to give the perfect umami taste.
How to stir fry broccoli and mushrooms?
- Boil the broccoli separately, drain and keep it aside.
- Heat a skillet and add oil.
- After oil gets heated, add onion and sauté till it turns pinkish.
- Mix minced garlic and sauté till raw smell of garlic goes away.
- Add tomato and sauté till it turns mushy.
- Next, add red bell pepper and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
- Add chopped mushroom and mix. Let mushrooms turn sweaty.
- Mix boiled broccoli into this and let it cook for 2 minutes.
- Add paprika or red chili powder, mayo, soy sauce and mix well.
- Taste and add salt.

- 15 button mushrooms sliced
- 1 cup broccoli chopped uniformly
- 1/2 red bell pepper julienne
- 2 tomatoes finely chopped
- 8 garlic pods minced
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika or red chili powder
- 1 tablespoon Tandoori mayo or any other mayo
- To taste salt
- 2 tablespoon oil
