- Tomato: Use fresh ripe tomatoes to make this momo dip recipe.
- Chilies: Use dry red chillies to make the momo dip spicy. You can deseed the dry red chilies.
- Garlic: Use fresh garlic to make the dumpling dip aromatic.
- Ginger: Bit of ginger is used in this recipe to add spiciness and flavour.

How to make chilli sauce for momos?
- Heat water and when it starts boiling, add tomatoes, dry red chillies and boil them till tomatoes are cooked.
- Drain the water and let the tomatoes and red chillies cool.
- Slice the black part from the tomatoes and peel them.
- Add peeled, boiled tomatoes, dry red chillies, chopped garlic, black pepper pods and sugar to a mixer and blend.
- Add soy sauce, salt to taste and mix well.
