What goes in making soya bhurji recipe?
- Soy chunks: I have used Nutrela soya granules to make this healthy protein rich bhurji. You may use any type of soya nuggets or soy chunks.
- Vegetables: Fresh onion and tomato are used in preparing this simple soya granules recipe Indian style. Bell pepper may also be added.
- Spices: Spices like red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and chopped garlic pods are used in preparing this delicious and easy soya nuggets recipe.
- Lemon juice: a little bit of lemon juice is added in this soya recipe to enhance the taste and flavor.
- Oil: Any type of cooking oil like mustard oil, peanut oil, olive oil, sunflower oil or canola oil is used in preparing Nutrela bhurji recipe.

How to make soya chunk recipe?
- Boil the soya chunks, drain the water, and keep them aside.
Once they dry completely, tear them open into small pieces. - You can also use soya granules. These are faster to cook as you do not have to shred them into pieces.
Just soak them in warm water and squeeze the water after 30 minutes. - In a pan, add oil and let it heat for some time.
- Once the oil is heated, add the onions and fry them until they become translucent.
- Add tomatoes and fry till they become mushy.
- Then add the garlic paste and fry till the raw aroma of garlic vanishes.
- Mix the spice powers namely turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and mix well.
- Add the finely chopped soy chunks (or soy granules) that have been cut into exceedingly small pieces to the pan.
- Add the lemon juice , salt, and mix well. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

Ingredients
- 15-20 pieces soy chunks or 1/2 cup soy granules
- 1 tomato finely chopped
- 2 medium sized onions finely chopped
- 4-5 garlic pods make paste
- 1 tablespoon coriander leaves chopped
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon oil
- To taste salt
