Yesterday evening I was too tired to cook something after office. We decided to go to RMZ Infinity Mall to have dinner at a restaurant there. After reaching there my little one said that she wants to eat burger at McDonald’s. So we also changed our mind and decided to have dinner at McDonald’s itself.
We ordered Happy Meal with McChicken Sandwich for our little one along with a packet of fries. My hubby ordered Double Fillet-o-fish meal and for myself Double McSpicy meal. We also ordered Chicken McNuggets and brownie with ice-cream. We then saw that the piri-piri fries are back and asked them to add the piri-piri spice mix to our regular fries. So they handed to us empty paper bags with the spice sachets inside it.
Piri-Piri is also called as African Bird’s eye chili. Piri piri sauce (used as a seasoning or marinade) is Portuguese in origin. It is made from crushed chillies, citrus peel, onion, garlic, pepper, salt, lemon juice, bay leaves, paprika, pimiento, basil, oregano, and tarragon. (Source: Wiki)
Initially my little one started eating the fries without the piri-piri spice. She did not allow me to add the spice to her fries. I added the spice mix to my fries by following the instructions on the packet. I told my little one to taste one. She tasted them. At first she said that it was spicy, but immediately grabbed the entire packet with Piripirilicious spice and handed the other one which did not have the spice mix to me.
I added the spice mix to the other packet and tasted the fries. They were really yummy and Piripiriliciously delicious. My hubby too loved them, but little one was actually licking her fingers.
We always loved the burgers, but this time we loved the shake shake fries and unshared them before eating the burgers. Little one was completely possessive about them and did not allow us to touch her bag too. I too unshared my fries and there is no age to unshare fries. See the pic below how she is unsharing her fries.
Overall we had a lovely evening. Little one never eats spicy stuff. So we asked her why she is eating the spicy fries(just to pull her legs). To which she replied that they are spicy but tasty.. ha ha. yet she loved them and was unsharing those fries.
#UnshareMyFries – I am unsharing my fries and I will visit McDonald’s again just to eat those fries.
