Air Fryer Shrimp

Air fryer shrimp is an easy shrimp recipe which gets ready in 7 minutes. The juicy shrimp cooked in air fryer tastes so good. You will never stop at one bite and will want to have more. You can have these air fryer shrimp guilt free as they are healthy, gets cooked with less oil and are totally keto.

Equipment

  • 1 Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 20 shrimps
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt or as per taste
  • 1 tablespoon parsley for garnish finely chopped

Instructions

  • Wash the shrimp, peel, and devein. Pat dry.
  • Pre-heat the air fryer for 4 minutes at 200 C or 380F
  • In a bowl, combine shrimp, seasonings like black pepper powder, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, salt and olive oil.
  • After pre-heating, place the shrimps in the air fryer basket or rack one by one.
  • Air fry for 7 minutes at 200C.
  • Halfway through flip the shrimp to other side and continue air frying.
  • Garnish with finely chopped parsley.

Notes

  • If needed grease the air fryer tray with 1 teaspoon oil or line with a parchment paper. Do not use a cooking spray like Pam cooking spray in an air fryer.
  • I have used small to medium sized shrimp in this shrimp appetizer recipe.
  • If you are using big or jumbo-sized shrimp you will need to air fry for more time.
  • If you are using a larger quantity, you can air fry them in batches. Just even shake the basket halfway if you are using more quantity of shrimp.
  • Larger air fryers will cook faster, so adjust the time accordingly.
