Bang Bang Sauce (Bonefish Grill Copycat Recipe)

Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon honey optional

Instructions

  • To a mixing bowl add mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha sauce and pepper powder and whisk well.
  • If you want a sweeter taste, then add honey. I like it on the spicier side so did not add.
  • Bang bang sauce is ready. Serve it with fried chicken, fried shrimp, fish fingers or fried potatoes.

Notes

  • You may use ¼ cup of plain full fat Greek yogurt and ½ cup mayo to make the sauce healthier.
  • If you want a sweeter version, you may add a little honey to the sauce. I have not added it to this recipe.
  • You may make the sauce 2 days ahead of time and use it whenever needed. The leftover sauce can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
