Fish Roast
Fish roast is a spicy fish recipe made with seer fish. The fish recipe can be made with easily available ingredients and tastes so good. It can be prepared for lunch or dinner as a side dish.

Ingredients

For marination:

chili powder

turmeric powder

For Roast:

onions
finely chopped

medium sized
large tomato
finely chopped

capsicum
cut lengthwise
1/2
teaspoon
chili powder
1/4
teaspoon
turmeric powder
1
tablespoon
pepper powder
2
green chillies
1
tablespoon
ginger-garlic paste

curry leaves
Instructions
Marinate the fish with the ingredients meant for marination – that is chili powder, turmeric powder and salt. Keep aside atleast for 30 minutes.
Heat 1/4 cup oil in a large kadai.
Fry the marinated fish for sometime till the fish gets slightly cooked. Remove and keep aside.
In the same oil, add ginger-garlic paste and saute for 2 minutes.
Add onions and saute with little salt till it turns translucent.
Add chilli powder, black pepper powder and turmeric powder and mix well.
Next, add tomatoes, green chilli and curry leaves & cook till tomatoes turn mushy.
Add capsicum and fry till capsicum gets cooked.
Now add the fried fish & mix gently. Take care not to break the fish.
Cook for atleast 15-20 minutes on low flame.
Notes
The spice level can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the quantity of red chili powder and black pepper powder.
