Heat a kadai. Roast rawa/semolina till nice aroma comes from it. Let it cool for some time.
1 cup rawa/sooji/semolina
Mix the rawa and curd or yogurt. Add Eno fruit salt or soda, mix gently and keep it aside.
1 cup curds / yogurt, 1/4 teaspoon cooking soda or 1/4 teaspoon of Eno fruit salt
The batter consistency should be like normal idli batter.
In a pan, add oil. When oil gets heated, add mustard seeds. Let mustard seeds splutter.

After they stop spluttering, add curry leaves and urad dal.
10 - 12 curry leaves, 1 teaspoon urad dal
Saute for a minute. Add onions and fry till they turn pinkish.

After the onion turns pinkish, add the other vegetables like grated carrot, finely chopped bell pepper(capsicum) and sauté for 2 minutes.

Sprinkle coriander leaves over it.

Switch off the gas and let it cool.
Mix the vegetable mixture into the rava idli batter after it cools.
Grease the idli moulds with home-made ghee. Add enough idli batter to it and cook them in an idli steamer for 25 to 30 minutes.

To remove idlis from steamer, use the sharp side of a wet spoon and run it in the base of the idlis.
