Wash the Basmati rice and keep aside for 15 minutes.
In a pressure cooker, add ghee.
After ghee gets heated, add the cumin seeds, bay leaves, cloves, black peppercorns, cinnamon and crushed cardamon pods.
Add the green peas and fry for 5 minutes.
Add the pulao masala and mix well.
Next step is to add the Basmati rice, so add washed Basmati rice, mix everything nicely and let it cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add 2 cups water, kasuri methi, salt to taste and mix well.
Close the pressure cooker and keep on the whistle/weight.
After 3 whistles turn off the cooker.
Open after cooling. Serve with raita/dal or eat as is.
