No Onion No Garlic Radish Subzi With Radish Leaves

Delicious radish leaves subzi with radish.

Ingredients

  • 3 medium sized radish peeled and chopped
  • 8-9 radish leaves chopped
  • 1/4 cup moong dal or toor dal
  • 1 Green Chili slit
  • 2 tablespoon coconut freshly grated
  • 1 teaspoon jaggery
  • To taste Salt

Instructions

  • Wash the moong dal and keep aside.
  • Add washed moong dal, chopped radish, chopped radish leaves and green chili in pressure cooker along with 1 and ½ cups water. Pressure cook for 4 to 5 whistles. Wait for the pressure to be released.
  • Heat a kadai, add the pressure cooked moong dal and cooked radish and radish leaves from the pressure cooker. Leave any extra water in the cooker.
  • Add grated coconut, jaggery, salt to taste and mix well. Switch off the gas.
