Wash and cut the raw banana into 2 pieces.
You can boil or steam or pressure cook it.
After cooling, peel the banana pieces.
Finely chop and mash the banana with your hands or a masher.
Add finely chopped onion, finely chopped coriander leaves, finely chopped green chilli, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt.
Mix everything nicely.
Add tamarind paste, finely chopped garlic and ginger and garlic paste. Mix well.
Shape into round shaped cutlets with thickness 1 cm. Keep all the cutlets aside on a plate.
Mix the rava/semolina/breadcrumbs and salt in a plate. Gently roll the cutlets into the rava/semolina/breadcrumbs and coat it nicely.
Grease the tava/frying pan with oil.
Once it heats, place the prepared cutlets on the frying pan and shallow fry the cutlets in oil.
Flip to the other side after 10 minutes and fry for another 10 minutes.
Serve with tomato sauce or chutney of your choice.
