Plum banana smoothie is a healthy breakfast recipe. Whenever in doubt about what to have for breakfast, just make a smoothie with fruits. I have added chia seeds to this banana plum smoothie which makes it a perfect weight loss smoothie recipe too.

Notes

Variations:
  1. You may add a little amount of oats to make this a filling breakfast smoothie.
  2. Sugar may be skipped or replaced with honey or pitted dates.
  3. Cow milk can be replaced by nut milk, rice milk or soy milk to make it a vegan smoothie.
  4. Apple may be added while blending bananas and plum.
  5. Plum and banana puree are given to babies 6 months onwards. Do not add chia seeds to this while giving it to babies. Just peel and chop the banana and plums, blend to make puree for babies.
